The Surprise Proposal
May 1, 2015 began like any other day. I woke up early, had breakfast, and headed to work. Little did I know that the day would take an unexpected turn. After finishing up some tasks at the office, I received a call from my best friend, John. He asked me to meet him at the park near our old apartment complex. I agreed and made my way there, feeling curious but not overly concerned.
When I arrived at the park, I was surprised to find John holding a bouquet of roses and looking nervous. He then dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him! I was completely taken aback - I had no idea he was planning to propose! After a moment of shock, I happily said "yes."
The Celebration
We spent the rest of the day calling family and friends to share the news. Everyone was thrilled for us, and we felt an outpouring of love and support. We ended the day with a small dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant. It was the perfect way to celebrate this momentous occasion.
