How to Play Music from OneDrive using Groove Music

If you have a vast collection of music stored on your OneDrive account and want to access it with the Groove Music app, follow these simple steps. In this blog post, we will guide you through the process of playing music from your OneDrive on Groove Music without using images.

Prerequisites

  • An active Microsoft Account with access to both OneDrive and Groove Music
  • The latest versions of OneDrive and Groove Music installed

Step 1: Authorize Groove Music for OneDrive Access

  1. Open the Groove Music app on your device.
  2. Click on the three dots in the bottom left corner, then select Settings.
  3. Tap on Accounts and click Add OneDrive account.
  4. Sign in with your Microsoft Account credentials. If you're already signed in, you might not need to sign in again.
  5. Grant the necessary permissions by clicking Allow when prompted.

Step 2: Add Your Music from OneDrive

  1. Go back to the Groove Music app's main screen.
  2. Tap on the three horizontal lines (hamburger menu) in the left corner, then select My Collection.
  3. At the top of the screen, tap on Add and choose From OneDrive. If you don't see this option, try signing out and back in to your Microsoft Account or restarting the Groove Music app.
  4. Browse through your OneDrive folders and select the music files you want to add.
  5. Tap on Add selected at the bottom of the screen to start adding the songs to your library. The progress will be displayed as each file is added.

Step 3: Play Your Music

  1. After all files have been added, go back to the main screen and tap on My Collection.
  2. Navigate to the folder where you added your OneDrive music.
  3. Select any song and tap on the play button to start playing it. Enjoy your music collection from your OneDrive with Groove Music!

Remember, you need an active internet connection for Groove Music to access your OneDrive content. Happy listening!
