3 Principles in Creating Website Navigation
A website page usually consists of various main components that will facilitate visitors in exploring the contents of the website.

One of the important components is the search form, where visitors can type what keywords they want to search and after that the website will display content that match those keywords.

Another component that is not less important is the navigation menu, this section becomes the main guide for visitors to find the content they need.

Navigation is a major milestone of website usability. It does not matter how good your website looks, but if visitors can not find their way to the content they need and even get lost while visiting your website, that's certainly not good.

Visitors can be cured and do not want to visit your website because of the problem, therefore in making website navigation must be made by using some principles.

1. Simplicity

Simplicity in navigation must be designed and created in such a way that it allows visitors to go to the page they want in just a few clicks.

The complexity of navigation will only confuse visitors and in the end they will find it hard to find the page they want.

2. Clarity

Navigation should be made as clear as possible so they do not have to guess the meaning of every option available in the navigation menu.
Navigation should be made as clear as possible

This is very important, do not let visitors feel trapped by the menu shown, because the writing on the navigation menu was not in accordance with the content contained in it.

Every option on the navigation menu should be clear to visitors. Use common names that everyone can understand.

3. Consistency

Consistency on the navigation system should be applied correctly. If you put the navigation menu on the left on the main page, then the navigation menu should be on the left as well on other pages.
Consistency

Consistency on the navigation menu is important to avoid confusion of visitors.

Consistency is not just a matter of location, but also of choice. If on the main page there is a menu "Contact", then on other pages must also have the menu.

In color and shape should also be strived for the same, so visitors will be easier to explore the website.
