Not wanting to lose to compete with Samsung, Huawei, and Apple, which began to seriously work on high-camera capable smartphones, Honor will introduce a 48MP resolution smartphone, the Honor View 20.

Quoted from The Verge (12/14/2018), the Honor View 20 will use the Sony IMX586 sensor for the main camera combined with the sophistication of the Kirin 980 chipset.

Later, the Honor View 20 will carry a hole design on the screen like the Samsung Galaxy A8s and also the Huawei Nova 4, both of which will be released.

Honor View 20 itself is a successor of View 10, the company's flagship smartphone released early last year. From here, it can be seen that the View line is a flagship smartphone that prioritizes performance and photographic capabilities.

However, the company from China is still reluctant to divulge further information about the specifications and features of Honor View 20.

Announced January 22, 2019?

The plan, Honor will only reveal more about this smartphone on January 22, 2019 in Paris, France. At present, Honor View 20 will begin to be sold immediately in the Chinese market on December 26.

Not just the Honor View 20
Not only Honor, several other vendors will also soon be carrying a camera with a massive megapixel camera on their device.

One of these vendors is Xiaomi. Reportedly, the company has leaked information on Chinese social media namely Weibo, about a smartphone that will carry a 48MP resolution.

In addition, Sony and Samsung are two camera sensor manufacturers that announce 48MP technology at the beginning of next year. It does not rule out the possibility that the technology is applied to the device itself.
