How to Change Spotify Profile Photo on Mac and Windows 10

| | Tutorial Software |

Listening to music through platforms like Spotify has become a habit for many people to boost the mood. However, if you want to change your profile photo on Spotify so you don't get bored, you can follow the following method. Not only via a smartphone, you can also do this via devices such as Mac and Windows 10.

The first step that needs to be done is to open the desktop version of the application on your Mac or Windows 10 device. Then, click on the account name or account icon present at the top right side of the screen. You will see various Spotify information, such as name, image, and playlists that are set as public.

Select Change Options

To change your Spotify profile picture, select the "Change" option at the bottom of your avatar. In the pop-up window, navigate to your PC or Mac files and find a suitable image to use as a profile picture.

The image must meet Spotify terms of service, so avoid anything that might offend or violate copyright regulations. Once you find an image, choose to upload it.

Once uploaded, the picture on your profile will be updated automatically. It will also appear as an icon next to your account name in the top right corner.

How to Delete Photos

If you are using Spotify on a Windows PC and want to delete a previously uploaded image, select "Change" again on your profile, then click the "Delete" option. This will delete the photo, replacing it with a gray silhouette placeholder image.

However, if you use Spotify on Mac, the desktop client doesn't give you the option to delete photos when selecting the "Change" option.

Selecting the "Change" button will open a new Finder window for you to choose a replacement for, so repeat these steps to do so.
